About the Race
The Hatcher Pass Boulder Dash is a closed-course, lap-style mountain-cross snowmachine race held on prepared natural terrain near the Gold Mint area.
The course starts and finishes at the lower Gold Mint Parking Lot and follows a directional loop through the Reed Creek / Goodhope drainage.
Riders can expect a mix of:
- Tight technical sections
- Jumps and hill climbs
- Fast, flowing straightaways
Races are run snocross style (mass start) with one race per class, making it exciting and easy to follow for spectators. While the racing is competitive, the Boulder Dash is intentionally designed as a family-friendly event, with junior classes, safe spectator areas, and a welcoming atmosphere for kids and families.
